Right of withdrawal
Last updated: August 2026
You have 14 days
If you're a consumer in the EU and you buy a paid plan from Ruben Cipriano, you can change your mind for any reason within 14 days. You don't have to explain why. The 14 days start on the day the contract is concluded — that is, the day your order is confirmed — and end 14 days later. If the last day falls on a weekend or a public holiday, you still have until the end of that day.
How to withdraw
Send us a clear statement that you're withdrawing — by email to [email protected], or by post to Ruben Cipriano, Rua André Vidal de Negreiros, 1950-024 Lisboa, Portugal. Any unambiguous wording works: "I'm withdrawing from my contract" is enough. You don't have to use a form, but there's one below if you'd rather copy it. Please include your name and the email address on the account so we can find your order. We'll confirm we've received it within 2 business days. To meet the deadline it's enough that you send your message before the 14 days are up.
Getting your money back
We refund you using the same means of payment you used to pay, unless you expressly agree otherwise. You won't be charged any fee for the refund itself. We pay it without undue delay, and at the latest 14 days after the day we're informed of your decision to withdraw. How long your bank or card provider then takes to show it is up to them.
If you asked us to start right away
A paid plan is a digital service, so it normally can't start until the 14 days are over. At checkout you can ask us to start it immediately — most people do, because a wedding date doesn't wait. To do that you have to confirm two things: that you want the service to begin during the withdrawal period, and that you understand you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
If you then withdraw while the service is still running, you keep the right — but you pay a proportionate amount for what you actually used, calculated against the full price of the plan. You get the rest back.
An example, with made-up numbers to show the maths (your real price is the one shown at checkout): say you buy a one-year plan for €48 and ask us to start it that day. On day 10 you withdraw. Ten days of 365 is about 2.7% of the year, so you owe about €1.32 and we refund €46.68.
If you don't ask us to start immediately, nothing is used during the 14 days and you get the whole amount back.
Model withdrawal form
Copy this, fill it in, and send it to us. Only complete and return this form if you wish to withdraw from the contract.
To Ruben Cipriano, Rua André Vidal de Negreiros, 1950-024 Lisboa, Portugal, [email protected]:
I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the supply of the following service:
Service ordered: ______________________________
Ordered on ______
Name of consumer(s): ______________________________
Address of consumer(s): ______________________________
Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is sent on paper): ______________________________
Date: ______________________________
(*) Delete as appropriate.
Withdrawal is not the same as cancelling
Withdrawing undoes the purchase and gets your money back, and it only works in the first 14 days. Cancelling ends a subscription going forward: your plan keeps running until the end of the period you've already paid for, and then it simply doesn't renew. Cancelling doesn't refund the current period. You can cancel at any time — see the Terms of Sale for how billing and renewals work.
If something goes wrong
Email [email protected] first — that's the fastest route, and it puts your withdrawal in writing. We are not currently signed up to any alternative dispute resolution body, and we're not obliged to use one; the entity competent for consumer disputes that are not sector-specific is the Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (CNIACC). Your statutory consumer rights, including the right to take a complaint to your national consumer authority, are not affected by anything on this page.
