Why this page exists

So you always know who you're dealing with. Everything below identifies the business that runs this service — the one you enter into a contract with when you create a site or buy a paid plan. The law of Portugal requires it.

Email is the fastest way to reach us and we aim to reply within 2 business days. The law requires a second channel through which you can communicate with us directly and rapidly; the number above, by phone or on WhatsApp, is that channel. For anything about your wedding site, the contact page is the better starting point.

Register and tax numbers

Commercial register: none. Ruben Cipriano trades as a sole trader (empresário em nome individual), and a Portuguese sole trader is not entered in a commercial register, so there is no register number and no registering court to give.
NIF (Portuguese tax number): 264424018
VAT identification number: none — VAT exempt under Article 53 of the Portuguese VAT Code (IVA — regime de isenção (artigo 53.º do CIVA)). A trader under this exemption is outside the VAT regime and is not issued a VAT number; the NIF above is the only tax identifier.

Who is responsible

Ruben Cipriano.
A sole trader has no company and no managing director: the responsible person is the trader himself. He is also the person responsible for the content of this site under § 18 (2) MStV, reachable at the address given above.

Supervisory authority

Where an activity requires a licence or official supervision, an imprint has to name the responsible authority. Running wedding websites is not a licensed activity in Portugal, so there is no licensing authority to name here.

For data protection, the competent supervisory authority is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD). Under Article 77 GDPR you have the right to lodge a complaint with it, or with the authority in the country where you live or work.

Consumer dispute resolution

We are not obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, and we have not signed up to one. Portuguese law still requires us to tell you which entity would be competent: for consumer disputes that are not sector-specific that is the Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (CNIACC).
