Our story

Made by people who love a good wedding

We started Our Weddings after building a site for our own big day and realising every tool out there was either clunky, overpriced, or ugly on a phone. We wanted something calm and beautiful — a place to share the details, gather RSVPs, and keep every photo from the night in one spot.

So we built it: an elegant, mobile-first wedding website you can set up in minutes, with a shared photo gallery, live RSVPs, and playful extras. No spreadsheets, no clutter — just your story, told well.

The things people ask before they start

What do we get for free?
A real wedding site: your page, your story and details, and an RSVP form your guests can fill in without signing up for anything. Guest photo uploads are not part of the free plan. A free site is always publicly listed, and the quiz is not included. The site and your RSVPs stay for as long as you like, with no card asked for.
Do our guests need to create an account?
No — and that is the point. Guests open the link, read the details, send their RSVP and share their photos without signing up for anything. If you would rather, you can limit photo uploads to people who sign in.
Who can add photos, and can we approve them first?
You decide. Uploads can be open to every guest with the link, limited to signed-in people, or switched off entirely — and you can require every photo to be approved before it appears. Guests can report a photo from the gallery or while viewing it; enough reports hide it straight away and put it in front of you.
Are our photos kept at full quality?
That depends on the plan, and we would rather say so plainly than surprise you. Every paid plan keeps every photo at full resolution. On every plan we remove location data from photos and videos when they arrive, which means photos are saved again rather than kept byte for byte. You can download them all, as stored on your plan, in one archive; a single video downloaded from the gallery is the MP4 copy that plays on phones.
How long does the site stay up?
A one-time purchase includes a stated number of years of hosting, 2 to 5 years, depending on the plan, shown beside the price on the pricing page — deliberately well past the day, because people keep sending photos for weeks afterwards and the gallery is the part couples come back to. Nothing is sold as "lifetime". A subscription keeps the site online while it is active. The date a one-time purchase ends is in your account and in the email confirming it. When a plan ends the site goes offline, and you have at least 90 days to sign in and download your photos and data, or renew to put it back online. A free site and its RSVPs simply stay.
What happens if our guests share more than our plan includes?
Nothing breaks in the middle of your wedding. On a paid plan your guests keep uploading when you reach your plan's photo or video count — we let you know, and you can add a pack of more photos and videos: a single payment, shown on the pricing page, that never renews. Nothing is ever charged automatically. Every plan also has a generous storage safety limit (fair use). The terms of sale set this out in full.
What happens to our photos and our guests' details?
They are yours. Photos are stored for your wedding only and are never used for anything else. Guest replies — names, headcounts, dietary notes — are seen by you, by the people you add to help run your site and at the addresses you choose for the RSVP summary email. As the platform's operator we can reach them too, and use that only to run, support and secure the service. You can download your data or delete the whole account from your account, download every photo and video from plans and billing, and the privacy notice spells out the rest, including how long each kind of data is kept.
Can we change things after we have sent the link out?
Yes. The address stays the same while you edit, so a link already sitting in a hundred inboxes keeps working. Change the time, swap the photos, add a detail you forgot — guests see the new version next time they open it.
What if we change our minds?
Nothing here traps you. There is no card on file for the free plan, and a paid plan can be cancelled from your own billing page in the same number of clicks it took to buy — your right to cancel is set out in full.
Something is wrong on the day. Can we reach you?
Yes — contact has a real address that a person reads. A wedding has one date, so anything that breaks on it goes to the front of the queue.
